The DreamCrusher

Jack, wanting to save his sister at any cost, is influenced by the Dreamcrusher to enter the Portal. Jack finds himself in a state of inertia, wanting to save Skye but doubting the Dreamcrusher's promise that he will find her in there.

As the Dreamcrusher gets more and more vexed at Jack's hesitation, he howls over and over again 'You have no hope!'.

Finally realizing the truth of his circumstances, Jack reverses the situation, accusing the Dreamcrusher of being a liar. Jack's brave and truthful exclamation instantly crushes the Dreamcrushers power. His precious Lair begins to shatter apart, disintegrating into rubble and debris before his eyes and the Dreamcrusher himself is powerlessly drawn into his own trap, the Portal. In his courageous action, Jack demonstrates how great an individual's power becomes when he recognizes untruth and acts wholeheartedly against it.

Jack is free, Skye having been freed from her prison, appears from the rubble and the two travellers continue on their mission to find Atlantis and free the people of Seludion..
